The Lost Gypsy Gallery in Papatowai, New Zealand, where Blair Somerville makes amazing things, combining physics engineering and fun. There are all kinds of little wonders in here which can be wound up and set moving, and lights flashing. With collections of old clocks, books and novelties it is a treasure-trove of nostalgia and creativity. Most of his creations are for sale but there is no charge to enter and view and play with his gizmos. I felt like a child again in there :) Taken with Canon 450D. Comments always appreciated and welcome.

Great shot and I would love to check this out in person. I would likely be giving up some cash here too.

Lyn, I like to agree with Stan, as I would to love to check this out in person as well, but the only problem is that New Zealand is 'pretty' far, lol.
Thanks for this fine post.
Regards, Cornelius.

Really neat, Eve. Sounds interesting. Think I'd have cloned out the pole for purely aesthetic reasons.
