Inside The Lost Gypsy Gallery in Papatowai, New Zealand, where a Blair Somerville makes amazing things, combining physics engineering and fun. There are all kinds of little wonders in here which can be wound up and set moving, and lights flashing. With collections of old clocks, books and novelties it is a treasure-trove of nostalgia and creativity. Most of his creations are for sale but there is no charge to enter and view and play with his gizmos. I felt like a child again in there :) Taken with Canon 450D. Comments always appreciated and welcome.

Reading your narrative and viewing your image, I can imagine that you felt like a child again, Lyn. The old clocks would make my heart skips a beat.
Fine post again.
Regards, Cornelius.

Don't touch anything! There is a "Jack in the Box" behind every knob you see here. Interesting display well captured, Lyn.

That is the craziest picture I have ever seen. You are compelled to view it full screen and then go exploring. Great post.

It's even better inside! The next best thing to being there. I'll be investigating every nook and cranny later. wonderful shot once again.

Unusual photo I must say, like it, yes, your control of the camera, out-bleeding-standing, 11 out of 10 from me.
