“Running water for luck” . . . . The Maero, fearsome rock hurling manbeasts of Maori legend (and believed by some to still exist in remote forest areas) are said to be unable to cross water - so this little running stream could be a lifesaver should you encounter one here. :) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
