There are 5 photos stitched together in this image of Lake Pukaki from the Mt Cook Road,South Island New Zealand, with the Southern Alps in the background. I recently posted images taken from the other side of the lake - this gives a different perspective. Canon 450D, 17-85mm lens. Thank you for viewing. I hope you enjoy this part of my beautiful country :)

Your stitching is excellent and is only exceeded by your photography LE. If this was on our Thanksgiving Dinner table, everyone would be wanting seconds.

Tis a beauty for sure.

Beautiful place and great job, Lyn. Would be great, if higher resolution panoramic photos allowed in caedes.net.

You can just see the curve at the top ..this is a minor hiccup with all stitching!..But it doesn't take anything away from this!....

Like to agree with you that your country is beautiful Lyn, and it's great that you share this beauty by means of your wonderful photographs.
It's easy said that this pano is created by stitchting five images together, but I imagine that it's a heck of a job to achieve such a result.
My compliments.
Regards, Cornelius.

What a gorgeous view of these mountains, Lyn. They're so jagged they look more like teeth. I've been looking back a little through your gallery to try to figure out which one is shot from the other side of this lake... Distant Mountain? You are a great representative of your beautiful and varied land. With such color, landscape, light, and flora, it's no wonder the Lord of the Rings movies were filmed in New Zealand. Thanks for sharing these beauties.

Wonderful colors and shadding. Love the highlights of color in the tree lines and the dramatic colors reflected in the rippled lake. A fantastic capture.
