Here in New Zealand we can never expect a white Christmas but one of the nice things about Christmas in summer is that we have roses blooming :) Thanks for viewing, Comments always welcome. . . . . .

"Christmas--that magic blanket that wraps itself about us, that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance. It may weave a spell of nostalgia. Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer, but always it will be a day of remembrance--a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved." ťAugusta E. Rundell

Lovely roses shining so beautifully in the sun. The dark background shows off the flowers so well.

Sweet work on this one, thanks for the heads up on the angel, would have missed her otherwise. I like all the small touches you've added and the overall clarity and richness without over doing it.

They sure are beautiful with those delicate looking pink buds. So soft and feminine looking and they are "white". Wonderfully captured too, Lyn. I wonder if we are even going to have snow for the holiday. I can live without it. lol

Wonderful image and a wonderful presentation Lyn. Very originial way (with respect that you're living on the southern hemisphere) to express a proper Christmas mood.

Sometimes I would rather have the warmer weather than the freezing cold this time of year.

This shot is so simple but you have captured the soft and delicate feel to the roses. Beautiful...just simply beautiful.
