The last of the day's sun casting a golden light on the breakwater in Oamaru Harbour, NZ. The rays in the sky are also visible in this shot. Thanks for the explanation of this phenomena given by Nikoneer on THIS image. I was not aware of them when I took this photo (was too busy trying not to fall in the harbour, balancing on the edge of a fishing wharf !) but they appear on several shots I took.
The little dots sitting on the breakwater are Spotted Shags which can be seen in great numbers. They nest in the nearby cliff faces.
Pp done in PSP. Thank you for viewing. Comments/critiques/opinions always welcome - and appreciated.

A really sharp, well composed and beautiful image, LynEve. That water looks like it's right at my feet and the post in the lower right gives dimension as does your angle on the shot.

Even though the scene is beautiful I believe it is your composition that impresses me the most with this one LE. You are a beacon for us budding photographers.

Another terrific seascape, LynEve! The light and pale blue colors in this shot are quite beautiful. The sun's rays and the piling in the foreground add a couple of very pleasing elements to the scene. Great work!
