Here's your creative task for this year, Lyn..

Move away from and off of the auto-exposure and most of your creative ills will be a thing of last year and the past.

As I note from the EXIF data on many of your images, these settings keep showing up:

"Auto exposure, Auto WB".

... ...

Oh, and add a lighter hand in noise reduction to your creative list of things to do (or, try). The differences in resolution between that of your skies and land ... are noticeable. To these eyes anyways.

Easier way and for some experimentation (if using Neat Image, for example) ... explore the options found under "Filter Preset > Advanced".

Better and more involved, again with some experimentation required (depending on the image itself) ... "Noise Filter Settings" ... with the individual Colour Channels (Levels, Amount and Sharpening).

Typically, more noise is found in the Red channel.

That said..

Nice shot and composition.

Very nice composition, Lyn. Your postwork has very strong effect on the sky and clouds. The negative effect is high contrast on land objects.

I like this one much better than the Glittering Harbour shot, Lyn. That single post top in the corner seemed a bit isolated with all that water in between. I think I would have cropped it heavily at the bottom, making it a fabricated pano instead, giving emphasis to the seawall.

This one, however, has lots of activity in it, lots of great lines, distant and near, just the right amount of HDR, I don't mind the horizon near the middle of the shot, and that bright green moss really anchors the whole image because it is a strong element at the bottom of the shot. And unlike the floating post top in your previous submission, the one in the bottom right corner of this one is visually attached to the dock, giving it a reason for being.

Just a thought. I've been told I have brown eyes for a reason, so... just a thought. :^>

These are both very good images. This one has wonderful cloud formations leading our eyes into the background and nice diagonals from the three small wharves.

Once again, beautiful light and colors, a gorgeous sky, and lovely composition. The green moss in the foreground is also a very pleasing bit of unexpected color. I like this shot, too.
