Another shot taken in the Ahuriri Conservation Park. I made a few shots with a polarizing filter to try and prevent the water glare - it worked, but I liked the silvery sheen better as it was a more realistic replication of what my eyes saw. Thanks for viewing. Comment/opinions very welcome.

Lyn, I think you choice was a good one, I like sheen you captured in the water, and the overall image is stunning. It has kind of a orton feel about it. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Very nice scene and landscape photo, Lyn. Polarizing filters works good most of the times. But the result might not be as real. Your decision and work here gets a realistic result as just you've intended. The glare is very good, not much nor less. Nice work.

Once again it is plain to see the wind is blowing very hard. The mountainous backdrop is always a winner.

I love the sunlight and wind on the water. Your choice not to remove the glare was a good one. Once again, great color and superb composition, LynEve. The mountains and that slice of lovely blue sky are just the icing on the cake. Wonderful shot!

I love all the elements in this one but maybe feel there are too many of them. :) I do like simplicity, so that's my bias. The sheen on the water is cracking good and definitely the star of this shot for me.

Lyn - The lines in this photo are superb - drawing the eye into the valley and to the distant mountains. There is such depth to this scene. Very well done! Thad
