Benmore Dam. This is from the other side of the river - the dam is hidden by the water. With the combined noise of the river and the cascade it felt like being in a storm. Taken with Canon 450D. Thanks for viewing. Comments always welcome.

Amazingly beautiful! The birds seem to love the spray too. That blue water is without parallel.

Powerful seascape, LE, with terrific detail in the water and spray from the splash. Compositionally, I feel your image is strengthened by cropping off an inch from the bottom rocks and the third mountain hump, but that's just my opinion. Either way, it looks stunning on my desktop and I can almost hear the cacophony of noise!

They say there is two sides to every story. In this case both sides are beautiful. Good series LE.

Yeah, that's a fair bit of fuss and bother! The thing I'm enjoying most about these shots is the colour of the water.

I like the feel of this image ... as if I'm actually standing on shore watching the misty spray of water. I like the lighting on the incoming waves too. A powerful capture Lyn ... very nicely done.

A spectacular and dramatic shot, LynEve. One of your best in this series, I think. I love the roiling green water and the white spray from the spillway. Also, the depth-of-field is superb, and I like the dark, chocolate-brown mountains and foreground rocks. Well done!
