Downstream from Benmore Dam, New Zealand.
The water has swished and foamed down the spillway from Lake Benmore and now it dances and leaps downstream as wild as the wind.
Thank you for viewing. Comments/opinions always most appreciated.

Looks like a scene from a movie LE. All that is missing is a raft careening out of control. Beautiful.

This series has some really beautiful shots Lyn - I love the color of the water. The colors of the rocks, sky, water, clouds, and waves come together forming an exceptional creation.

Very well captured Lyn, spot on exposure to bring out the colors, and water action. I can just see someone trying to shoot these rapids, what a ride that would be. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Seeing water churning like this reminds me of the Niagara River Gorge down water from the famous water falls. Another very impressive photo of powerful water. Thad

Love all the lumpiness in that landscape, humps of water, rock, earth and even in the clouds. Great shot, that water colour really lifts everything up a notch.

A bit less explosive than your last post, but that churning water is still impressive and carries enormous power. Another great shot shot, LynEve. The rocks and river in the foreground look terrific against the far hills and gorgeous blue sky. Nice post-work, as well.
