Excuse my use of f-words on your posts tonight, but this is just fabulous, Lyn. The tree is perfect as a foreground element to showcase the beautiful view of water, earth and sky beyond.

WOW Lyn, absolutley Breath taking scenery and composition in this image, such gorgeous colours & love the way the tree frames the right side pointing right up to that gorgeous sky
Another spectacular view and a wonderful photographic composition. You've applied a deft and very artistic touch to this image, LynEve, and added terrific visual appeal to an already stunning landscape. Bravo!
People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative.

Hi Lyn, I see your photos occupy most of the C-index top gallery, and you deserve it with those fantastic landscapes! One thing I might want to add as a little critic is thatI think you apply too much clarification. The result is that the photos become a little smudgy. Maybe, just maybe, you want to try applying a contrast function for high, mid and low lights. It makes a smoother image. Oh, and yes, I AM just jealous! Thanks for posting. P.s. my sisten just returned from NZ. She missed the earthquake while sitting in the airplane from ChristChurch to north Island. What about you? Paul
