Early Autumn colour on the shores of Lake Wanaka, New Zealand.
The glacial lake is 27 miles long,928 ft above sea level and more than 1,000 ft deep. It is the source of the Clutha - New Zealand’s largest river by volume.

I would certainly say that this image qualifies as an excellent example of balance. The gold tree in the foreground well balanced against the most obvious mountain across the water on an angle. Beautiful!
