I have tried several applications to create a panorama of the five photos inluded in this image. This was the best result, using ArcSoft Panorama Maker, and post processing in PSP. A tripod would have been useful and for once I wish I had had it with me, but mine leads a very lazy life at home on a shelf, rarely straying away from home:)
This is Lake Hawea, New Zealand. Not quite what I wanted to achieve but a peaceful scene I hope you may like :)
Canon 450D with 17-85mm lens used. Auto Landscape setting.
Thanks for viewing. Comments/critique welcome and appreciated.

I'm sure that given the opportunity for space travel, you could post the most stunning image of the surface of the globe, LynEve. Tripods are for old people anyway! Beautiful work. Whatever you put into creating this pano shows up distinctively in this beautiful post.

Reminds me of a CinemaScope movie in the early days LE. It was quite the marvel. This is quite the marvel as well.

Excellent job Lyn. The water looks so smooth and "silky". The rest of the scene is just as beautiful. Very nice presentation too.

A beautiful panorama, LynEve! The scenery is breathtaking and the photography outstanding. I like the dark borders, as well, which add some nice contrast and framing. Excellent work!
