I spent a very enjoyable mild Autumn day at Hawkesbury Lagoon, Otago, NZ a few days ago to celebrate my wedding anniversary :) The area is a wildlife sanctuary. This is the start of a track around the lagoon - plenty of water birds to see along the way. Taken with Canon 450D. Minimal editing. Thanks for viewing. Comments always welcome.

Cameras are like people--sometimes they lose focus.
It certainly is a worn down path. Reminds me of the path to school, but there wasn't such a beautiful sight as this to pass by. Quite lovely, Lyn.

This well walked track leads of course round the bend !!!!! LOL
It goes round the lake and remains well walked and equally charming - at least I think so, but it is also possible that just before the lake bends there is something very mysterious or ordinary like school or a village shop.
Whatever it is, the image looks most inviting.

It looks like a splendid walk, LynEve. I like the soft, mid-day light from the autumn sun and how the path leads the eye out and around the lagoon. Nice mid-tone contrast, as well. Excellent shot!
