North Otago coasline,New Zealand. This is a RAW image pretty much left as is. I did do some work on it but decided it was best left alone. I cropped some of the sky off. Interested to hear what you think :)
Thank you for any comments/opinions

Looks a 'gentle' post!...maybe hung on a wall as a watercolour eh!

Nice work

If that's as it was why alter it when it is such a lovely scene with calming colors already?

The pastel shades look very good Lyn and the two birds add a lot to the scene.

I like the color tones in this one, and sometimes it is best not to mess with them, a good choice I think. Tigs♥ =^..^=

It is soft, misty, and a lovely scene, Eve. I do think that with the broad expanse of sand, gulls and surf, that you still have too much sky by about half at the narrowest point.A tiny touch of contrast and sharpen will improve detail in the gulls and sand without affecting the misty mood and colours.

You did well not messing with it LE. Colors are subtle and beautiful. Looks laid back. Good post.

I like it this way. So many of our landscapes look over processed to me.

Very apt name. I'm very happy with this untouched result. Colors are really soft and beautiful. Without pumped-up sharpness and other effects this look so natural and beautiful. The mist of spray from waves look fantastic. Great work, my friend.

At first one might think, "hmmmmm, that's a bit washed." But closer inspection indicates that's sea spray and a strong breeze filling the area above the water with mist. Good shot. It would be nice to see a near-dusk version from this exact spot, just to see what a difference low-light would make.

The waves and their resultant mist makes a terrific line across the beach and distant mountains. Thad
