Well, I have my supply of vitamin C for the day. In fact, I just had to take an injection of my anti-oranging agent. That's some powerful colors there.
I am especially impressed with the level of sharpness and detail in the wings of this Hymenoptera. When you can see the texture in a bee's wings, you know you've hit the jackpot. This one is a glorious summertime shot.
This comment of Richie made me smile. Means that this must be a super sonic bee capable of traveling from England to New Zealand in just a couple of hours, lol.
Love this colorful post with clear details, Lyn. My compliments with this very good work.
Super, LynEve! His wings match the color of the flower. And congratulations on your win in the emptiness contest. A difficult theme, but you did it well.
The flower and head of the bee are a bit soft in focus, but those wings are absolutely phenomenal. Like leaded glass in a tiffany lamp. Does your camera allow for adjustment of the f-stops? You take so many great photos, Lyn, of amazing landscapes and angles so many people never see, I often find myself looking at the shots within your shots.
