Lake Hawea in the Lake District of Otago,New Zealand. Altitude of 348 metres. Area 141 kmē. Depth 392 metres. It was raised artificially by 20 metres in 1958 for hydroelectric power water storage.

Well, this is going to be a tough act to follow. With all of those verbose critiques ahead of me, I'll be lucky if I can get out half of my thought before my letters and words are all used up.
We have a phrase on this side of the world that comes to mind. "Picture perfect". This could easily be one of those postcards that they sell at the tourist stops. I love the colors, particularly the blues in the water and the sky. And that's pretty nifty the way that the clouds are hugging the mountain tops. My only complaint is that someone needs to tidy up the debris on the beach. At least it seems to be driftwood and not cigar butts and beer cans. It could be the dust on my monitor, the fingerprints on my glasses or the smoke in my eyes, but I think I'm detecting a small amount of noise in the sky. This will do well in the VB.
