The welcome sight of some blue sky over my fence this morning. Pansonic DMC FZ28 on zoom. The trees in the foreground are dark. I tried adjusting it a bit lighter but couldn't get it quite right so have decided to leave it as a contrast against the snow. Thanks for viewing, comments very welcome.

Auckland had snow after 72 years - I read somewhere! You must have been hit quite hard too. So no wonder that you are happy to see the sun in the morning. Beautiful shot Lyn.

A wonderful view you have from your house LE. I like the layered look to this.

What a gorgeous view. The Redynamix plugin recovered the entire shadowed area, without touching a tool, though possibly not as dramatic as the deep shade.

We must be neighbors, LE. That's the same view I have from my back yard except for the mountains, snow, greenery and layered cloud formations.

This is my kind of landscape. Every layer holds a new adventure and special characteristics. I'm especially intrigued with the multilayered cloud cover. You have those nifty, fluffy jobbers hangin' near the mountain tops and the dense, dark fog-like clouds at the top of the shot.

What a delight those snow capped mountains are. Everywhere you are, there is a beautiful shot waiting to be taken and you have taken many.
