This was taken from the Sailors Cutting jetty in THIS photo, facing the opposite way. The last of the day's sun still paints the mountains. The blue strip beyond the line of trees is State Highway 83.

I'm sorry to disagree with you, Lyn, but these are actually hot springs and not cool water. I could jump in this water and have no fear of the dreaded shrinkage factor.

I like the way the sunlight is hitting just that small spot on the mountain the background. It's a beautiful posting with lots of nifty reflections. If still waters run deep, this hot spring must be a mile or two deep.
