Just one week old, born on Christmas Eve to Ruby, one of my friend's donkeys.
Dasha is very friendly and she posed nicely for me :)
My friend and Dasha's "Donkey Auntie" Molly were present at the birth - Molly actually tried to steal her from her mother but after a 13 month wait Ruby would not allow that!

Very cute and a very nice capture of the texture of a very young donkey's hair(?). I've seen plenty of colts this age before but not a donkey.
