These shrubs would take over my garden if I allowed them to :) Taken with Canon 450D. Comments welcome
Wishing everyone a Happy Friday !

If they were to take over your garden, would the chargeable offense be that of an assault with a beautiful weapon?

We have snow and ice here today - your summer is looking very good to me right now!! lol. ~~ John

What a beautiful blossom!!! The yellow color is so cool. We have Rose of Sharon in Michigan, but they look nothing like this! Great shot.

Great capture. The plant we call Rose of Sharon in the US is a hardy hibiscus. This hypericum is known here as St.John's Wort. By any name it is a lovely flower.

I have these coming through my fence from next door, and they are very attrctive BUT as you say they do tend to take over. Is it called St Johns Wort?
