Eastgate Clock in Chester, Cheshire, England, stands on the site of the original entrance to the Roman fortress of Deva Victrix. It is said to be the most photographed clock in England after Big Ben. It was erected in 1889 to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee of 1897. Until 1974 it was wound once a week.
