This is the beautiful view from Glebe Cottage Garden, overlooking Hawkesbury Lagoon at Waikouaiti, New Zealand. A private property of just over 1 hectare which is classified by the NZ Gardens Trust as a Garden of Regional Significance, which I enjoyed visiting today.
I hope you enjoy this scene of a fine Autumn day :)

Autum? I just can't get use to how the seasons are so reversed from over here. But, that's good. You can send us snow when we are sweltering down here in Louisiana.

Hi Lyn, thanks for the comment on my last post. How this photo makes me want to visit NZ! I won't be back at Caedes much, I don't have the time these days, but I wanted to drop back as it's been three years and I missed people. I've updated my email address and you and I are friends on a well-known social networking site, so I hope me not being here much won't really matter.

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

Hello Lyn...I am absolutely blown away with this picture. This is one of the finest landscape pictures that I have seen for a very long time...The light, composition, foreground interest and dramatic scenery combine well to make this image a pleasure to view...Well done....All the very best to you Lyn....Mick.
