Christchurch is being rebuilt after the earthquakes but first .. the demolition of the condemned. The top left image was once the Crowne Plaza Hotel which was too badly damaged to be repaired.THIS is what it looked like. The two images on the right were a 14 storey apartment block. Taken with Panasonic DMC FZ28.

Your Panasonic is taking great photographs Lyn, the Leica lens is superb. A well presented collage, and a good piece of photo journalism.

The forces of nature can be awesome and also quite devastating. It sure does take a long time to return things to the state they were in before the disaster, but can also be discouraging to begin again. Good choices for your collage.

Thans for both an impressive and striking collage, Lyn. Does me realize that such a disaster can happen everywhere.

Good work again.

Regards, Cornelius.

A very unusual subject for a collage, but this works very well with the presentation you have chosen. A terrible time for all who went through the earthquake, but with courage, determination and resolve, the people of Christchurch will win in the end. Brilliant piece of work Lyn!
