Returning home from our drive to the mountains yesterday where my two previous uploads were taken, just had to stop about 5 minutes from home to try and capture this golden view as the sun set. I cropped off a large chunk of the sky as it was empty space. I just took the one shot and now wish I had taken a bit more time and zoomed in a bit closer. Taken with Canon 450D at 5.34pm. Comments most welcome. I think the quality is not so good (I am no good adjusting for the light) but hope the scene makes up for that in part.

Outstanding and very much 'dreamlike.' I really like this capture my Friend. The color tones and lighting are awesome! I can 'dive into' this and get lost!!

I think that the lighting is perfect for this shot. It's quite dramatic this way.

You've got some lovely colors in there and a fine broad view. I love the fog in the hills over yonder. I find this a very difficult time of day to shoot, but you managed it with finesse.

I like the land just as much as the sky here Lyn. The golden light has given the landscape a lovely glow. Very nice image.

I really think this is the one that should have been your "Golden Hour" entry, Lyn. The landscape still has soft, gold light and the contours are clear. The band of colors in the middle are a good contrast to the rest and a panorama always gives full value for the viewer. Excellent.

Hello Lyn...What a beautiful colourful sight to welcome you home...You say that you cropped the sky as it was empty space..If I was in your shoes I would have had just a third of the land in the frame and showed plenty more of the sky, Saying that, this picture is a pleasure to view...Well done Lyn....Mick.
