Delphiniums come in so many shades of blue. This is one of my favorites.
Although used for some herbal medicines, all parts of this plant are toxic to humans and cattle.
In Transylvania, it was used to keep witches from the stables !

Nice shot here Lyn! I love these plants too with their tall towers of blooms. I have to use a trellis here to keep them from breaking over with some of the winds we get.
