These New Zealand Fur Seals/Kekeno (Arctocephalus forsteri) share the same area as the Yellow-eyed Penguins
These ones seemed to be enjoying resting on the beach but some of them had hauled themselves a long way up the rocky cliff to bask on the grassland above. I will post a photo of those ones later.

What a life..Wait for the next high tide and it saves me crawling to the sea..The most lazy od animals our Farne island seals have the same life ethic..Good pic..R.
