The three cute little ducks I posted yesterday HERE which I tried to give a Beatrix Potter Jemima Puddleduck look were actually part of a duck herding demo at a Harvest Fair.
I thought you may like to see this bit of it. They also went through tunnels and over other obstacles.
Herding ducks requires remarkable communication between the handler and the very intelligent sheepdogs.
The ducks seemed to enjoy it too :)

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I've also never heard of duck herding - would also love to see it - thanks for the additional explanation.

I am the 3rd US Midwesterner that has not heard of this.
It is very cool . I have been involved and have attended dog herding shows and clinics we use sheep and goats .
I would love to see this . Being in horses I have come in contact with several people from New Zealand and Australia . I have always been amazed at their ability to communicate with a horse and dogs for that matter . Apparently it also includes ducks !
Excellent post , Lyn.

Wonderful work, especially with the grass-like background. This looks like a fun thing to watch Lyn! I love the ducks. I'm glad that you shared this with us as well.

Funny but excellent collage. I've never seen a duck agility course, that must have been a blast watching, love the Boarder collie watching to make sure they don't stray
