Maybe the 'Super' perigree moon has had a weather effect because New Zealand has certainly had extremes of everything these past days - hail rain snow and gale force (200Kmh) winds resulting in great disruption, people without power, some without their roofs and major evacuations and strandings due to flooding and snow in many areas.
Today the sun shone for a while and I was able to capture some enormous sea waves late this afternoon. I would have got more had my camera battery not run out! Maybe the full moon also affected my memory, as I always take a spare and today forgot.
Taken with Panasonic FZ28. Your comments are always very welcome.
