I took this a few weeks ago but it was relegated to my bin. On looking at it again I think perhaps it did capture the atmosphere I was aiming for, even if not a very 'pretty' picture. The sun was casting lovely rays on to the water on the left but they have not shown up very well. I will leave it for you to judge :)

“My day is done, and I am like a boat drawn on the beach, listening to the dance-music of the tide in the evening.” ― Rabindranath Tagore, Stray Birds

Can't understand why you discarded this beautiful shot. The lighting is beautiful and so is the view Lyn.

This image is an almost perfect instance of ying-yang phenomenon which I am crazy about. Even the shape is just like this classical image with the wavy line across and two dots, if you know what I mean. The quote from R Tagore suits very well too, same as the title of course. Thanks, dear LE.

I like it and you certainly captured the mood of the moment - almost like a fog effect.

"Pretty" pictures are a dime a dozen. This one is drama, intensity, mood, action, expectation, suspense, and $999.95. -Nik

Love the colour that's almost sepia. There's so much to look at here and it's so atmospheric.

Who needs pretty?

Ah its twilight again,
the sun is hanging between this world and the next,
waiting for the last bit of grey to settle in,
waiting to fall away in to another time and place,
leaving the past in its fading rays,
leaving the present to face the future.""

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
