This is the view from the window where we enjoyed lunch in Mt Cook National Park last Sunday. Aoraki Mt Cook is the snow covered peak on the right, New Zealand's highest mountain and where Sir Edmund Hillary began his climbing career.
I cheated a bit by standing outside the window to take the photo.

That is not cheating Lyn. You only said "from the window" where you were standing. A lovely view of the snow covered sharp edged cliffs. I recently read something about Tensing Norgay the sherpa. He was rather hurt about how his own people treated him after the conquest of Everest. I think it was plain jealousy on their part.
