Koekohe Beach, Moeraki on the North Otago coast, New Zealand.
This is another taken last October.
In the far distance the famous Moeraki Boulders can be just seen. This end of the beach does not attract so many people.

Lyn, in my imagination I hear the soft whispering sound of the sea, feel a cool breeze, and breathe the salty air. But the only reality is your very fine image. I've to accept that, lol. Thanks for sharing.

Regards, Cornelius.

NZ is such a land of contrasts, considering your last image was also in October! A glimpse of Paradise (so like our own, dear New Brighton!).

"On the Beach" is one of my favourite books and movies too !!! Perfect setting - love the emptiness - metaphorically and literally that corresponds with the plot of both.
