I took this shot of the wharf( in this photo) pylons to use for manipulations but thought the colours and textures made quite a nice picture on its own. 120 years worth of being caressed by the sea :)
Great colors and textures in this one, Lyn. The only thing that I miss is the typical smell (frangrance to me) of the sea, but that will stimulate my imagination.

Or me or Pimpek [other nick for Boris :)] for that matter !!! Like our C I miss only the smell of the sea ... When was it last time that I was at the seaside ?! [strange question as we live 100 km away from the sea but during the last 10 years we had no time to go there...] Thanks for the moody and slightly melancholic image ... Nostalgic too. SAM & SAAB
There is beauty in those colors and weathering of the dock Lyn - I too would love to smell the sea. It has a way of clearing your head at least mine anyway!

I really enjoy repetitive shape images but the unique colors provided by the minute sea organisms are a great enhancement. The fact that you cropped out the top of the pier keeps it from distracting us from this decidedly interesting underside. -Nik

Seen and captured very well.
