Sunflower fields a short drive from where I live. Unfortunately I misjudged when they would be at their best and was probably a week late, but they still make a wonderful sight.

Lyn, I have my doubts whether this image would have been better if it was taken a week later.

A "picture perfect" rendition of sunflowers. It took me quite a while to realize that sunflowers in bright sun reflect loads of yellow into the image, and that overcast conditions make for the best sunflower photos. You obviously already know that. As for me, I'm still waiting for that overcast day... and for the dang snow to melt. -Nik
