For those of you who have viewed my other Moeraki Boulder images I can now tell you their real purpose.
They are tourist eggs !!
Here is the proof - one hatching right before my eyes. She emerged to join another one whose shadow can be seen to the right - and they arrived complete with cameras! :)

Tourist Eggs can have a great impact on the economy, LE.
I would be buying stock in Travel Agency's.
Another good one from your part of the world.

On the one hand a funny one Lyn. On the other hand, if I would have been there as a tourist, think I had showed more respect for the cultural heritage of your country. That's just my opinion.

Regards, Cornelius.

So this is where they come from. There must be lots of eggs somewhere close to Hamburg. Nice one Lyn.

Sometimes a tourist blocking your view can be a blessing in disguise, as is the case here. Another informative, & fascinating upload.

My reaction would have been simple: ROFL but as I read our SEAS comment, I decided to investigate the matter in terms of respect or its lack towards the national heritage...:)
Will report my findings, if any!
