One of the last to bloom in my garden before I pruned them. Taken on June 7th.
The Last Rose Of Summer sung by New Zealand's beautiful Hayley Westenra and Meav Ni Mhaolchatha. Enjoy :)

Lyn, checking-out your link and viewing this wonderful image made me even melancholic. It's wintertime now on the southern hemisphere, but don't forget that the days are growing longer now for you. Thanks for this beautiful posting.

Regards, Cornelius.

This is a wonder rose and it is presented ... beyond any words of praise! To say nothing that the colour is my favourite. I agree with SEAS as to the days growing longer / shorter [here] and the continuity of changes and us facing the winter coming soon - just a couple of months !:)
Thanks for this beauty, dear SALE.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

A beauty of a rose too Lyn - your days are getting longer now and ours shorter so there is more light at the end of the tunnel so to speak.

A wonderful close-up of a beautiful rose! I love the color. The raindrops or dew? make the rose look alive and fresh.
