I followed the link given in This Thread for the Gorman-Holbert Conversion B/W Method and have been experimenting with it. I rarely use Photoshop,so found it a bit daunting. This is my first attempt. I may use it again using an image with more colour variations. Comments welcome :)

Seems to make a nice soft feature!...I haven't worked that 'link'..so cannot say much about it!...

Maybe a bit more contrast more contrast for the daffodils heads!

I checked out that link Lyn it does look rather formidable - this is excellent results however so I shall investigate further when I have time to concentrate.

Beautiful in B & W. I like the softer touch as well. I don't have Photoshop, but have Photoshop Elements ... so maybe the conversion method will work for other editing programs too.
