The gulls thought if they squawked loud enough and performed an aerial ballet it would persuade these two tourists to share their lunch at New Brighton beach. The bird on the left seems to be bending over backwards to impress.
It worked, they shared !

I like the story this photo tells. The girls are sitting in a danger zone and risk an unexpected surprise from the gulls. Bravo LE!

Lyn, I suppose that as long as the girls will provide some food to them, they will continue dueling and have no time to let fall their droppings on these girls. This is no guarantee from my side however, lol.
