This is where I had lunch yesterday. The Galley harbourside cafe was opened just a couple of weeks ago, and is a Steam Punk creation. Every so often fire spurts out of the chimney on top of the porch ! It is surprisingly light and airy inside and still in keeping with the theme - metal tables and chairs (and the food is terrific).

Looks very interesting Lyn. I was in a harbourside cafe in Nelson where you hear the water splashing below you and the cuisine there was superb too.

I wish I could have joined you there LE. The only thing the outside cafes around here was serving yesterday was icicles.

Lyn - It looks like a lot of fun to visit and have lunch here. I like the coastline being incorporated in the composition, putting the restaurant in its perspective.
