I do not know the name of this rose (perhaps someone does?) but I thought it very pretty. Taken with Canon 450D. Thank you for taking a look, and for any comments which are always appreciated :)

A few words from Edward Lear, 1885 :)

"And if you voz to see my roziz
As is a boon to all men's noziz, -
You'd fall upon your back and scream -
'O Lawk! O criky! it's a dream!'"

I think it might be one of the 'Dog Rose' variety!..(Briar/Wild)

You captured this very well in the side lighting!...good details too!

Whatever their name may be Lyn, these "roziz" look very nice and pretty and they shine so beautifully in the sun. Good that I can't smell them because if I lie on my back and scream my wife may call the emergency and then we may get an unpleasant surprise when the bill comes for misuse of the service :)

I have photographed this rose as well Lyn but do not know the name - I'm sure Roseman Stan would know - excellent capture on a difficult red in full sun.

These look like the wild roses that grow around the southern states of America but here they are usually pink Lyn. Lovely shot of these red and white roses.
