Captured down by the sea today with Panasonic TZ60.
Three different species of New Zealand birds - at the back Parekareka (Spotted Shags) a few Terapunga (Red Billed Gulls) and in the foreground Kawahai Birds (White-fronted Terns) which are a threatened species. I have never seen so many Terns together before, this was just a small portion of them. I believe some choose to migrate to South Australia in the Autumn. Maybe they were contemplating going :)
Thanks for looking and for any comments :)

You must have been far enough away as not to disturb them. This is a well focused shot, Lyn. All the birds are in focus and all the stones, as well.I was wondering what focal length you used...35mm equivalent. I was looking at that camera online the other day. I need a good camera to carry around in my pocket.

Jimbob - below is the exif info from the photo, most of which is gobbledegook to me lol
(I had it on landscape auto)
I am very happy with the camera - although small it feels good in the hand. I wanted one with an optical viewfinder which many of the other compacts don't have. It lacks a touch screen but that does not bother me. It has GPS and wifi capabilities but I have not investigated those yet.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Tremendous image.... this is a rare and precious scene, don't think many of us have the chance to see something like this. Your photo is a gift for us actually, best compositon that I have seen in a photo for a very long time. Perfect.
