Another one of the Moeraki Boulders. These split open ones have a mossy vegetation growing on them just now, making a very colourful sight. I left the two people in the picture to give some perspective as to the size of the boulders.

Mother Nature has deposited green algae on these boulders making them very beautiful. A lovely capture, Lyn.

I think it's a kind of seaweed which has covered the split open boulders.

Good decision to not clone out the people. We have a proper idea now about their seize (both people and boulders, lol).

Time and the sea has broken some of these boulders but nature has used the pieces to support the vegetation and sea life. Your image is very lovely and well composed. I like it and would love to see this place in person.
