This is a very lovely image with a good subject and composition. The healthy and happy bee is busy doing his job and is a nice addition. Well done.

Lavender is pretty and beneficial to us. It is said that it will keep the mosquitoes away because they do not like the smell. This is a great photo with the bee gathering and the lavender blooming, Lyn.

---First make sure there is no bee on the flower---

Lyn, I suppose (by the number of wings) that it's not a bee but a hoverfly species, and hoverflies can't sting.
However, it is nevertheless very desirable to spare its life because it delivers an important part in pollinating flowers.

Thanks for this very fine image!

Lovely post Lyn - I have a lavender shot I've never posted - I'll have to look for that as yours has inspired me.

I'm sure the bee agrees with you about the lavender being sweet. Wonderful color, light and clarity, Lyn.

Yeah. Rubbing a live bee in your hands ruins the day of both you and the bee. Yeah. Def, def, definitely. Yeah. I like your bokeh effect, Lyn, with the focus in exactly the right spot.

I like the focus on this. What should be in focus is and what shouldn't be is not. Nicely done.
