I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

The Maoris would have been afraid of this monster if they had seen it when they arrived in New Zealand! Nice water action around the "monster".

Awesome find here Lyn, a reminder for me about the time when we out on the lake in southern Indiana fishing, and when we thought we had a big one on the line it turned out to be a HUGE log, that raised up out of the water in the foggy morning, thanks for the memories, we had a good laugh. tigs=^..^=

That's quite a piece of driftwood Lyn - it would make for a very interesting finished piece.

That sea monster has died and was fossilised a long time ago, no need to fear. Good find!

Compared to Nessie (the Loch Ness monster), Nessie is just a baby, Lyn.
I have admiration for your courage, my friend, lol.
Good find and captured very well.

"Call me Ishmael. I alone have survived the sea monster's attack on the Pequod. If not for the intrepid New Zealand photographer who distracted it's smaller offspring, briefly on the beach, I would be no more... forever more..."

[Sorry... a little mix of Melville and Poe and Monty Python...] A cool find, Lyn. Is it submitted for the current contest, "In Disguise"? If not, it should be, qualifying nicely.
