This ocean-carved sculpture is impossible to walk past without touching it's textured surface. Parts smooth silvery and shiny, other parts rough and pitted. Adorned by seaweed ornaments and forever changing, wave by wave, day by day.

On the right is the dug out log that is like a boat. One of the bsmall boats the Maoris brought with them :) Interesting assembly of driftwood Lyn.
