On a roadside stop returning from a day visit to Mt Cook on Saturday I spotted these wild rose hips and thought they contrasted nicely against the blue lake and sky.
Taken with Panasonic TZ60. Thank you for looking :)
Rose hip jelly is delicious ! I am sure jelly and jam are still made. Here is a bit about rose hips and some recipes. http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/rose_hip_jelly/

Lyn, one must view this image at full screen size to enjoy completely the contrasting colors of the rose hips against a wonderful blue sky. Beautiful capture, my friend. Very well done!
