Most of my sunset shots are taken from the 'mountain' side of our house. This one is facing the other way, towards the sea, where just the glow from the setting sun is visible. The town down below was bathed in the golden light but I could not get up high enough, quickly enough to get a shot of it :)
I apologise for the poor quality. I really must learn how to adjust my camera for different light conditions!

You did fine on this one Lyn, I have forgotten to change my camera settings more times than I can count on one hand. I see that you have a view of the sea, and Mtns. on the back side, how wonderful that would be. tigs=^..^=

The glow can be clearly seen on the ground and also the sky looks lovely. You cannot call it poor quality Lyn.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?
You can get a lot of beautiful and interesting shot at sunset. You just need to be quick because so effects only last several seconds. Nice on Lyn.

I've viewed this image even bigger than full screen size, and to me its quality is far more than acceptable. More important is how you've succeeded to 'catch' its special mood. It exudes peacefulness as well!
