This was tonight's sunset. I have not intensified the colours. It was so intense a few seconds before this that it was impossible to look straight at it. It was a beautiful sight
Last weekend in New Zealand there was a frenzy of photographers capturing the Aurora Australis (The Southern Lights) I was not fortunate enough to see it but thought you may like to have a look HERE for a brief glimpse. The first time I ever saw this phenomenon was over 50 years ago and I can remember being a little scared as well as impressed :)

Never knew that one could see the southern lights fron New Zealand. In the North you have to go north of Norway o see them. Lovely sunset with strong and beautiful colours.
