Serious guess: It looks like a hunk of Himalayan pink salt (so ... perhaps a lamp or candle holder or deodorant or for cooking or maybe just 'cause it is pretty).

Nik, you ask is it is focus - yes I think so, as far as it could be. I used a macro lens and was quite close the the object.
