A sprig of NZ broom in the sunshine. The countryside is ablaze with yellow at this time of the year as the broom and yellow gorse flowers in profusion.They both have a lovely scent, and they both are invasive pests :) This one is right on the coast, near the Moeraki Boulders.

The advantage for watching the New Zealand Broom this way is that it can't cause hay fever to me now, Lyn, ☺ .

It is hard to believe something this beautiful can be a pest, LE.
However, I have known some beautiful people that could be pests as well.
